Lamarck Lakes : A two-night backpacking trip with friends to Lamarck Lakes in the John Muir Wilderness of the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. The middle day we took a mostly trail-less hike along the Wonder Lakes. A lightening strike forest fire started on our second day, and we hiked toward it on the way out.
